How to: Play Rugby League
Watch the video to answer the questions correctly.


Aim: The aim of the game is to score more points than the other team.
Amount of players: There are two teams of 13.
Length of field: The field is 100 meters long.
Minutes per half: 40 minutes
Length of overall game: 80 minutes

Four ways you can earn points for your team (+ amount you earn):
  1. A try = 4 points 
  2. A conversion kick = 2 points 
  3. A penalty = 2 points 
  4. A drop goal = 1 point


How do you score a try? 
To score a try you must run the ball into your opposition Engel area.
How far should the opposition stand to defend?
Your opposition must stand ten meters away from you.
How many tackles does your team get before they have to score?
Six tackles.
How do you win?

To win you must score the most points by a try, a conversion, a penalty or a drop goal.
