Canada is known for its many winter sports because Canada is very cold. Canada is full of lots of winter sports but they also play so summer sports. Did you know that the 7th most popular sport in Canada is RUGBY! WOW! Canada also plays basketball and basketball was invented by a Canadian man named James Naismith and now it's basketball is world wide.

ReplyDeleteGreat work on this task about Canada. Like Ms West, I didn't know that basketball was invented by a Canadian. It's just amazing because basketball is such a popular sport in the USA and around the world. Apparently James Naismith invented it and wrote the first rules for it over 100 years ago. Keep up the great work Eva.
